Steffie Vermeulen is an artist based in Rotterdam. Ceramics, textiles, digital fashion. Intricate, intuitive, considered craftsmanship, curiously experimenting with a range of techniques.

Her practice is driven by an intuitive approach to craftsmanship. Guided by curiosity, playfulness and the process of creation itself, she wants to reflect on the stories we attach to the things we make and live with and celebrate the joy of creating by hand. The result is an exploration of how traditional and contemporary techniques and materials influence and reshape one another. She creates a diverse body of work that delves deeply into colour, texture, and pattern and is full of intricate handwork.
